Run your ad accounts from the Claude app
You do not need Claude Code, a terminal, or anything installed. AdWhiz is a hosted server — you add it once as a custom connector and sign in from the browser.

Set up AdWhiz first, in the same browser
Sign in at adwhiz.ai and connect the Google Ads accounts you want Claude to reach. Stay signed in — the authorization screen in step 4 reads that session, so if you are signed out or signed in with a different address you will land in an empty account.
Open Customize → Connectors
In the Claude app or on claude.ai, open Settings and go to Customize → Connectors. If you are looking at Settings → Connectors and it tells you connectors have moved, that is the same place — follow it to Customize.
Add a custom connector
Click Add → Add custom connector. Give it a name and paste the server URL below. Leave the OAuth Client ID and Client Secret fields empty — AdWhiz registers itself automatically. Click Add.

Click Connect, then Authorize on the AdWhiz screen that opens. The connector shows every tool set to ask you first, so nothing runs without your approval. Your first question will prompt for permission — that is not an error.
# Try one of these first: # "List my Google Ads campaigns" # "Which campaigns wasted the most budget in the last 30 days, and what would you change?" # "Show me search terms with spend but no conversions"
AdWhiz works with any MCP-compatible AI coding tool.

AdWhiz + Claude App: Common Questions
No. Claude Code is one way in, not the only one. If you use the Claude app or claude.ai, adding a custom connector is the whole setup and it takes about a minute.
No — leave both empty. AdWhiz registers a client automatically when you press Connect. Those fields exist for servers that cannot do that.
The one your AdWhiz account is under, with your ad accounts already connected. The authorization screen uses whatever AdWhiz session your browser has, so signing in with a different address will authorize an empty account.
Not today. AdWhiz is currently one account, one login, and one set of ad-account authorizations. Each person needs their own AdWhiz account with their own Google Ads connection — see the Claude Team guide for what that means for an organization.
