Rolling AdWhiz out across a Claude organization
On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector once, and each member authorizes their own access. Here is the exact flow — and the limitation you should know before you plan around it.

An Owner adds the connector
Only Owners can add custom connectors on Team and Enterprise. Go to Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web, paste the server URL below, leave the OAuth credentials empty, and click Add.

Adding the connector will not send you to AdWhiz to sign in, and that is correct. Authorization happens per person, later, when each member clicks Connect. Anthropic's guide is explicit about this.
Each member connects for themselves
Members open Customize → Connectors, find the connector the Owner added, and click Connect. They cannot add it themselves — that option is hidden from members by design.
Give each member their own AdWhiz account
This is the part to plan for. A member who authorizes without an AdWhiz account of their own will land in an empty one. Today each person needs their own AdWhiz account with their own Google Ads authorization behind it.
# Each member, once connected, can verify with: # "List my Google Ads campaigns" # An empty result usually means that person's own AdWhiz account # has no ad accounts connected yet — not that the connector failed.
AdWhiz works with any MCP-compatible AI coding tool.

What You Can Do with AdWhiz in Claude Team
- One Owner adds it once — members do not each configure a URL
- Each member authorizes their own access, so Claude only reaches what they can reach
- No OAuth credentials to provision — leave those fields empty
- Every tool defaults to asking before it runs
- Works alongside the same connector added personally
- Google Ads and Meta Ads from one connector entry
AdWhiz + Claude Team: Common Questions
No, that is expected. On Team and Enterprise plans the authorization step belongs to each member, at the moment they click Connect — not to the Owner at the moment they add it.
Adding it is meant to be the whole job — there is no second enable step and no sharing toggle, so if it is in your admin list and not in theirs, something is wrong on the Claude side rather than in your configuration. Send us a screenshot of your admin connector list and one of a member's list and we will file the report with Anthropic for you.
Not today. AdWhiz is currently a single-user product: one account, one login, one set of ad-account authorizations. Connecting through your organization does not give your team access to accounts set up under someone else's AdWhiz login. If you are planning a team rollout, talk to us first rather than after.
No. Leave both fields empty. AdWhiz registers a client automatically for each person who connects.
