What is a Campaign?#
A campaign is a group of ads that share the same goal and budget. Think of it like a folder that holds related ads together.
For example, you might have one campaign called "Summer Sale" that runs all your ads about summer discounts. You might have another campaign called "New Customers" that tries to attract people who have never visited your website before.
Each campaign has its own budget (how much money it can spend per day) and its own goal (like getting more sales, website visits, or phone calls).
What You'll See on the Campaign List#
The Campaign List page shows all your campaigns in a table. Here's what each column means:
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| Campaign Name | The name you gave your campaign (like "Summer Sale" or "Brand Awareness") |
| Status | Whether the campaign is currently running (Active) or stopped (Paused) |
| Spend | How much money this campaign has spent during the selected time period |
| Conversions | How many times someone completed your goal β like buying something or signing up |
| CPA | Cost Per Action β the average cost of getting one conversion |
| CTR | Click-Through Rate β the percentage of people who saw the ad and clicked on it |
What You'll See
A table listing all your campaigns with columns for campaign name, status (Active/Paused), daily spend, clicks, conversions, and cost per conversion. You can sort by any column.
Filtering Your Campaigns#
If you have many campaigns, you can filter the list to find what you're looking for. Use the filter buttons at the top of the page:
- All β shows every campaign, whether it's running or stopped
- Active β shows only campaigns that are currently running and spending money
- Paused β shows only campaigns that have been stopped
Filtering helps you focus. For example, if you only want to check on campaigns that are currently spending money, click "Active" to hide the paused ones.
Multiple Ad Accounts#
If you've connected more than one ad account to AdWhiz, you can see campaigns from all accounts on one page. This is especially useful if you manage ads for different businesses or different platforms (Google Ads and Meta Ads).
Use the account selector in the sidebar to switch between accounts, or view all campaigns together.
How to Spot Problems#
The campaign list makes it easy to find campaigns that might be wasting money. Here are two quick things to look for:
- High spend but low conversions β if a campaign spent a lot of money but got very few results, it might be wasting your budget
- Very low CTR β if almost nobody is clicking on your ads, the ad copy or targeting might need to be improved
Click for details
Click on any campaign name to see more details about it. Look for campaigns with high spend but low conversions β those are usually the ones that need the most attention. The AI recommendations will often suggest changes for these campaigns.
What to Do Next#
Once you've looked at your campaigns, check the AI Recommendations page. The AI will have specific suggestions for each campaign that needs improvement.
If you want to compare campaigns across all your accounts at once, try the Monitor View β it shows everything in a bird's-eye view.
