Understanding your ads performance at a glance

Understand your Health Score — a simple 0 to 100 number that tells you how well your ads are performing at a glance.

What is the Health Score?#

Your Health Score is a number from 0 to 100. It's like a report card grade for your ads. The higher the number, the better your ads are doing.

You don't need to understand complicated data or spreadsheets. Just look at the number and the color. Green is good, yellow means there's room to improve, and red means something needs your attention.

What Does My Score Mean?#

Here's a simple guide to understanding your score:

How is the Score Calculated?#

AdWhiz looks at four things in your ad account to create your score. Each one counts for a certain percentage of the total:

1. Wasted Spend (35%)#

This is money spent on ads that aren't getting results. For example, if you spent $100 on an ad but nobody clicked on it or bought anything, that's wasted spend. Less waste means a higher score.

2. CPA Efficiency (25%)#

CPA stands for Cost Per Action. It measures how much you pay each time someone does what you want — like making a purchase or filling out a form. Lower CPA means you're getting results for less money, which is better.

3. Budget Utilization (20%)#

This checks whether you're using your daily budget wisely. If you set a daily budget of $50 but only spend $10, you might be missing out on potential customers. If you consistently hit your budget, you might need to increase it. Good budget use means a higher score.

4. Keyword Health (20%)#

Keywords are the words and phrases that trigger your ads. If someone searches "buy running shoes" and you sell running shoes, that's a good keyword match. This part checks whether your keywords are relevant and performing well.

Wasted Spend35%Money spent on ads that didn't get any results
CPA Efficiency25%How much each sale or lead costs you
Budget Utilization20%Whether you're using your daily budget effectively

How to Improve Your Score#

You don't have to figure out what to do on your own. AdWhiz gives you specific suggestions to improve each part of your score. Go to the AI Recommendations page to see what the AI suggests.

  • Pause campaigns that spend money without results — this reduces wasted spend
  • Lower bids on expensive keywords — this improves your CPA
  • Make sure your budget isn't too low or too high — this improves budget utilization
  • Remove keywords that aren't relevant to your business — this improves keyword health
