Optimization History
Track every change the AI has made
Track every change the AI has made to your ads. Review what was applied, what was dismissed, and learn what works best.
What is Optimization History?#
Every time you apply or dismiss a recommendation, AdWhiz saves it in your Optimization History. Think of it like a diary or a log book that records everything that's been changed in your ad account.
This is useful because you can always go back and see what happened. If your ads got better after a change, you'll know which change helped. If something went wrong, you can find what was changed and undo it.
What You'll See
A chronological list of all your past audits and optimization checks. Each entry shows the date, health score at that time, number of recommendations found, and a link to view the full details.
What You'll See in Your History#
Each entry in the history shows you:
| Detail | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Recommendation Title | The name of the suggestion — for example, "Pause low-performing campaign" or "Add negative keyword" |
| Status | Whether you applied the change or dismissed it |
| Date | When the action happened — so you can match it to changes in your ad performance |
| Priority | Whether it was High (red), Medium (yellow), or Low (blue) priority |
| Type | What kind of change it was — like a budget change, keyword change, or campaign pause |
Filtering Your History#
If you have a long history, you can use filters to find exactly what you're looking for. You can filter by:
- Status — show only applied changes, or only dismissed ones
- Priority — show only high, medium, or low priority items
- Search — type a keyword to find specific entries (like a campaign name or recommendation type)
For example, if you want to see all the high-priority changes you applied last month, you can filter by "Applied" status and "High" priority.
Why History Matters#
Looking at your history helps you learn what works and what doesn't. Over time, you'll start to notice patterns:
- Did pausing a campaign save you money? Check your spend after the change.
- Did adding a negative keyword reduce wasted clicks? Compare your numbers before and after.
- Did adjusting a bid lower your CPA? The history helps you connect the dots.
It's also helpful if you work with a team. Anyone on the team can look at the history to understand what changes have been made and why.
Review your history regularly
Make it a habit to check your Optimization History at least once a month. Look at the changes you've applied and compare them to your ad performance. If applied changes improved your metrics — like a lower CPA or higher conversions — you'll know what strategies work best for your business. This is how you get smarter about advertising over time.
